Introduction

This document details changes and fixes in Docman version 8.1.2.

Changes

Document Viewer (Branch Sites)

A change has been made to the error handling process when a network issue prevents a branch site from opening a Docman document. A user-friendly notification and a retry mechanism has been added.

Workflow Maintenance - Quick Step Access

A "See All Quicksteps" security setting has been added to User Maintenance. If this setting is toggled off, a user with Maintain Lists permissions can only see the Quick Steps available to them in Workflow. If the setting is toggled on, the user can see all Quick Steps configured in Docman. This is toggled on by default. If the setting is changed, the user must log out of Docman and back in to implement the setting.

Fixes

Library - .DOCX documents - Encryption

An issue was identified with DOCX documents that had been filed to Docman Library. This is now fixed.

SCI Store - Patient Section Designation

An issue was identified when attaching documents from SCI Gateway.If the Patients section had a different ID number, the import would not work. This is now fixed.
