Library Quick Start Guide

Introduction

This guide will introduce you to the Library, which is the foundation feature in Docman Back Office.  The library feature replaces the Secured Documents and Surgery Documents featured in previous versions of Docman.  

For the purpose of this Guide, we will assume that you are an existing user of Docman and that you are logged into Docman.  We also assume a level of Windows knowledge that includes the understanding of terms such as Drag and Drop, Click, Double Click and Click Drag. 

This Guide begins by explaining how to correctly categorise, tag and file Non-Patient documents into the Library.   The Guide then goes into the next phase of locating and checking the document out for editing and checking the document back in.  After editing, the Guide describes how to leave comments regarding the document

Getting started…

You will need to begin by logging into Docman.  For this you will need your Docman username and password.  Once you are logged in you can begin using this guide.
