This guide is designed to help people who wish to import documents into the Docman Back Office Library. In the guide you will find instructions for importing documents from the Secured Documents and Surgery Documents areas of Docman and from standard windows folders on your hard drive or network.
You will need to begin by logging into Docman. For this you will need your Docman username and password.

Warning: We advise that you run a backup of your Docman database before proceeding with the import. We also advise that no other users are logged into Docman whilst this process is being executed. |

Warning: When importing confidential documents you should import them to a category with appropriate security settings. For this reason we recommend that you import unsecured documents first and then work with the secured documents when you are confident with the system. |
